Your Hosts
We are a family of four, married since 2002 with a girl and a boy. We love having fun outdoors as a family and then enjoying some drinks afterwards- wine and beer for us and yoohoos for the kids. We believe in the golden rule and work hard /play hard. Having that said, we hope to make your stay a vacation to remember. We love this town and we hope you do the same when you leave.
We moved here in April of 2015 and fell in love with the charm of this house and the land that is on. We are running our own little show of fixer upper, by updating the house that was built in the 1940’s, keeping the history, as well as adding some touches of our own to the property. The house was owned by a lady known as the “Queen of Fredericksburg” for a long time and run as a bed and breakfast. We look to continue that tradition at this house as we raise our kids.
While the town is only 10,000 people, you will not find many better stretches of restaurants, wineries, breweries, and shops in such a small area. In addition, you have the Texas Hill Country which provides for beautiful bike and motorcycle rides, as well as the Guadalupe and Llano rivers and Enchanted Rock within 30 minutes.
